And I am convinced and sure of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will continue until the day of Jesus Christ.  ~ Philippians 1:6

This bible verse is the inspiration for our 2014 conference theme : Under Construction. This is a reminder that not only are our children under construction while we, as home educators, train and develop them, but also that each of us is still a work in progress—to be perfected by Christ.

MISSION STATEMENT:

The mission of the EPHSC is to support and encourage high quality Christian home education in the Eastern Panhandle and surrounding areas by providing educational and informational sessions and an opportunity to review and discuss resources and materials developed for the purpose of home education and strengthening families. The EPHSC will bridge the gap that Christian home educators in this area have by providing the sessions and resources in a location convenient to this region.

  2. My husband and I are looking forward to being vendors again at EPHSC. This will be our 6th year and it is so exciting to see how the Lord is blessing this ministry!

As home school parents for the past 21+ years, we know how important it is for parents to have the local conferences to come to. Stop by and say hello!

  3. Looking forward to EPHSC again this year and my first conference as more than an attendee and a behind-the-scenes helper!

I’ll be hosting one of the Tea Time Round-Table Discussions during the afternoon session. I’ll have my “Teacher’s Toolbox” bag-of-tricks with me, as well as ideas for Titus Two Friends mentoring.

Can’t wait to meet you! I’ll be the one with the cup of Lady Grey tea and Caramel Macchiato (fake) creamer and a half-packet of stevia. ~Deb <

I would really love to attend this home school conference as this would be my first one! I am a single mother of a 4 yr old daughter and sincerely desire to home school, but I’m not sure where to start. I feel like this would be an excellent orientation for me, but I really can’t afford the registration fee as I don’t start my new job until April 7th. Is there anyway the cost of registration could be discounted or waived?

    Thanks,
    Tanya

I heard that there was possibly child care, (with a fee). Is this true and if so can I get more information? My planned childcare is no longer available.

      Hi Kim,
Unfortunately, as of right now, we don’t have any more spots available for childcare. I hope you’re able to find other arrangements.
