Adele Roberts looks loved-up with fiancée at Pride of Britain Awards after bowel cancer battle

Adele Roberts looked loved-up with her fiancée, Kate Holderness, at the 2022 Daily Mirror's Pride of Britain Awards on Monday, which is taking place at Grosvenor House, London.

The radio presenter, 43, who revealed in June that she was bowel cancer free after undergoing treatment for eight months, held hands with wife-to-be Kate as they walked the red carpet.

Adele opted for a stylish black cropped blazer with matching trousers, which featured six gold buttons, teamed with a pair of heeled ankle boots.

While actress Kate looked effortlessly chic in a white short-sleeved blouse, black ruffled floor-length skirt and a matching neck tie for the annual event.

The couple looked more loved-up than ever as they walked the red carpet holding hands and Adele also shared a sweet Instagram Story post of the two en route to the ceremony.

It comes as Adele, who was diagnosed with stage two bowel cancer in October 2021, was praised by fans last month after she shared snaps in a bikini with her colostomy bag

Taking to Instagram, the presenter shared stunning holiday pictures while giving fans an update about her "barbie bum".

Her caption read: "Barbie Bum (Fun in the sun with no bum). Just before we came on holiday we found out that… It seems hell HAS frozen over and the cancer surgery has healed so well I can no longer use my bottom. Literal Barbie bum.

"They’re going to have to sort it out with an operation and a balloon (or something). I think that’s what my stoma nurse said. I thought, 'just throw it on the pile”. My body is absolutely knackered. So it looks like I’m going to need a blood transfusion for the anaemia and a ballon for my bum. I’m a hole down hahahaha."

She added: "In better news. It seems like Audrey the #stoma is staying for the foreseeable future. It’s a privilege to have this cheeky little sausage in my pants. Without her I’d be very sick.

"Please can we have another stoma advent calendar @KateHolderness? Audrey loves Christmas anyway. Especially the food!!!! It’ll be so special to have her here. #stomalife."

Taking to the comments section, many of Adele's 206,000 followers gushed about how much of a legend she was.

One person said: "You are such a legend! Love from a fellow barbie bum."

A second wrote: "It makes me so happy to see you having fun in the sun! You are such a legend Adele. Thanks for sharing your bravery and positivity."

"What a hero you are Adele. I was a cancer nurse and normalising and having these conversations are making so much difference to so many," another added. "Love to Audrey in the sun too."
