Bon Jovi, Dolly Parton & More To Join Virtual Concert To Benefit Covenant House
A number of artists, including Jon Bon Jovi and Dolly Parton, will perform in a virtual concert at 8 pm ET on Monday, May 18 to benefit homeless youth and the frontline staff working to keep them safe during the coronavirus pandemic.
The online event, titled “A Night of Covenant House Stars,” will be streamed on Amazon Prime Video, Broadway on Demand, iHeartRadio Broadway, Facebook, Twitch, YouTube, and Stars in the House.
Event proceeds will benefit the international charity organization Covenant House’s work across 31 cities in 6 countries.
A Night of Covenant House Stars will include performances from across the country by Covenant House youth with the support of Broadway Inspirational Voices.
Hollywood stars and Broadway veterans are among those who are teaming up in the special virtual concert.
In addition to Bon Jovi and Dolly, the event will also feature performances and appearances by Meryl Streep, Diane Keaton, Stephen Colbert, Dionne Warwick, Charlie Day, Robin Thicke, and many more.
“These stars have stepped up because they recognize that our young people don’t have the option to shelter at home without a home. For thousands of young people, Covenant House is their home,” said Covenant House President & CEO Kevin Ryan.
