Inside Georgia Kousoulou and Tommy Mallets turtle-themed 2nd birthday bash for son
The Only Way Is Essex favourite Georgia Kousoulou and Tommy Mallet pulled out all the stops this weekend to give their son Brody a 2nd birthday party that he (hopefully!) would never forget.
Doting mum Georgia, 31, organised a turtle-themed party for her son's special day, with the entrance display – adorned with a hoard of balloons in different shades of blue – read: "Brody is turtley two."
Georgia also purchased several sea animal helium balloons, a two-tiered oceanic birthday cake – complete with orange starfish – and a neon sign of the number two.
Another snap saw a bountiful charcuterie spread – courtesy of catering company Graze Life – including cheese, crackers, cured meats, olives, breads and other sundries.
The reality star also showed off an intricate blue-themed indoor play area, comprising of several rubber ramps, a slide, and two rocking motorcycles.
A blackboard written beside the climbing frame read, "Brody turns 2", whilst Georgia captioned the picture "The kids loved this soft play area," tagging provider @thekidscorneruk.
Another picture showed the children's eating area – a lowdown table, several cushion seats and giant cuddly sea animals, including a blue whale, octopus, turtle and squid.
The table was adorned with wooden cutlery and turtle-themed plastic plates.
Georgia and Tommy, 30, also hired a bouncy castle from @kidsplaybouncycastles for their son's big day, which was surrounded by a huge clear dome, in which hundreds of blue balloons floated around.
On top of this, the couple also hired several children's entertainers from @littlepartymonkeys, including two characters from kids' television series Paw Patrol and a mermaid.
Georgia, dressed in a stunning blue mosaic-esque dress, posted several photos of Brody – as well as other tots from the under-the-sea soiree – holding and petting real life turtles and tortoises.
The couple's elaborate display comes less than a month after they made the sad announcement that they'd recently suffered a miscarriage.
Georgia opened up on experiencing "unbearable pain" after suffering from the heartbreaking loss of what would have been her second child.
The duo took to Instagram to share the sad news.
Alongside a picture of her in a hospital bed, Georgia wrote: "Our 12 week scan to be told our baby had not survived & I needed an op…
"12 weeks of feeling every emotion , hoping & praying but in the end , nothing else we could of done."
She went on: "We don’t really have the words to say right now except we are lucky to have amazing family & friends around us .. & most importantly we are blessed to have our beautiful Brody who we couldn’t of got through this without him.
"We will have the words soon but right now we are taking time for us as a family."
