Lydia Bright goes on social media break following backlash over post-baby body snap
Lydia Bright has decided to take a break from her social media channels after facing backlash over a post-baby photo she shared on Instagram.
The 29 year old had posted a gorgeous snap of herself showing off her enviable body as she posed in nothing but a tiny grey-blue bikini just three months after giving birth to her daughter Loretta Rose.
The mum-of-one, who recently said she was in "hysterics" as her little girl rolled over for the first time, originally captioned the post: "Today I finished my English Countryside garden after my home renovation.
"It’s sooooooooo pretty and picture perfect, flowers everywhere," [sic] alongside a flower emoji.

While many of her 1.2million followers labelled her hourglass figure "phenomenal" and aspired to be like her, others felt bad for not being able to snap back so soon after having a baby.
Commenting underneath, one person wrote: "I do not look like this even 5 1/2 mths postpartum". [sic]
Another said: "Yes you look fab but good for you…we are all different but personally i wanted to enjoy being a mom but also kept active so I 'could enjoy being a mom' ….." [sic]
And a third accused the star of really wanting to flaunt her incredible body, despite writing about her garden in the caption as they said: "Very obvious this has been shared to show off the post baby body and not the garden. #unfollowed". [sic]
In response to the backlash she received, Lydia changed the caption of her post, writing: "I have choose to edit my caption after a few messages which aren’t necessarily negative, however I think it’s important to relay this message. [sic]
"All women should feel proud of there own bodies after having a baby, regardless of your shape and size. [sic]
"Some women for self esteem, confidence and mental health want to get back to exercising quickly after birth. Some women can’t due to labour, complications or sleep deprivation. Some women simply don’t want to and want to enjoy the time of from exercise. Some naturally have to put little effort into getting back into there jeans, some find it tougher." [sic]
She added: "We are all different but whatever decision you make and whatever body you have, always be proud of what you have done and love your body."

The star, who recently shared her newborn baby essentials as she packed hampers for her pregnant friends, then took to her Instagram Stories to tell her followers that she would be staying off Instagram today.
She wrote: "Taking a day of Instagram today. Yesterday after posting on my feed it no longer became fun. Instead of feeling like I have to spend part of my day justifying and explaining myself to people. I am just going to stay away, I will be back tomorrow." [sic]
Lydia added: "Sorry if I offended anyone with my post, it really wasn't my intention."

Many of her fans were quick to defend the blonde beauty after noticing how many people took issue with her post.
One person wrote: "Fair play to her she looks amazing! I’m a mother of two and this doesn’t offend me one bit, I admire her. I was bigger after having my son than I was after my daughter and I wasn’t bothered either way. We’re all amazing with what we go through to get our babies here! She’s not advertised anything to say this is how you should look so let’s build one another up ladies, there’s enough people tearing us down".
Another said: "@lydiabright you should not be made to feel guilty that you look this amazing after having a baby! I’d be running around the town if I was you and anyone who says otherwise is lying," alongside a laughing emoji and a kissing emoji.
