Prince Williams subtle whisper to Kate Middleton on wedding day confirmed by lip reader
With Kate’s stunning Alexander McQueen gown, the lavish background of London’s Westminster Abbey and an endless number of A-list guests, the Duke andDuchess of Cambridge’s wedding feels like it was just yesterday.
However,it’s actually been more than a decade since the world watched Kate Middleton walk down the aisle to marry her university sweetheartPrince William in 2011.
As Kate, 40, made her way through the well-wishers alongside her father Michael Middleton, William pushed back the nerves as he grinned from ear to ear.
But when cameras panned onto the happy couple, the Duke of Cambridge could be seen whispering a few words to his wife-to-be before uttering something to Michael, too.
And according to professional lip reader Tina Lannin, the large crowds didn’t stop the Prince enjoying an intimate moment with his loved ones.
As reported by CBS News, William told Kate: “You look lovely. You look beautiful”.
Meanwhile he joked to Michael: “We're supposed to have just a small family affair”.
Following the ceremony, the young pair enjoyed a carriage ride from Westminster Abbey to Buckingham Palace where they took the time to greet those who’d lined the streets.
While in the carriage, Tina explained that William said: “I hope I remember… It's mad, it's mad! Oh my goodness it … really loudly here”. But Kate added: “You look happy.”
As hundreds of spectators gathered on The Mall to catch a glimpse of the newlyweds sharing a kiss on the balcony of Buckingham Palace, Kate was seemingly taken aback by the numbers.
Stepping out, she said: “Oh wow”.
Her husband then asked: “Alright? You'll be okay?” and she replied, “yes”.
Despite the joyous occasion, lip readers have claimed thatthe Queen made a comment about how she’d wanted the couple “to take a smaller carriage”.
The news of the sweet moment comes as the royals prepare to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee later this year.
As part of the celebrations, the Cambridge couple are currently on an eight-day tour of the Caribbean.
During the visit, the duo are set to visit Belize, Jamaica and the Bahamas.
While on the tour, the royals will champion issues including biodiversity and early childhood development – subjects that are close to William and Kate respectively.
However, things haven’t been smooth sailing asKate and William were forced to cancel the first stop of their royal tour to Belize following a protest.
