Stacey Solomon shares emotional tribute to Joe Swash ahead of Father's Day
Stacey Solomon paid tribute to boyfriend Joe Swash with the sweetest message on Instagram.
The couple started dating way back in 2015, and welcomed son Rex together last year.
And the Loose Women star heaped praise on the 38-year-old for being an amazing dad to the little one – as well as his son from a previous relationship, and her boys, Zachary and Leighton.
Taking to her Instagram story, the 30-year-old reposted a snap of the former EastEnders star playing with their little one.
‘Had to repost Hoe’s one didn’t I,’ she began. ‘Seriously though knowing how much of his own father he missed out on, losing him at such a young age…
‘Nothing brings me more joy than seeing him being an amazing father to all of our boys.
‘We are so lucky to have you @realjoeswashy.’
No, you’re crying.
Joe recently lifted the lid on his Father’s Day plans, admitting that he has high hopes for his presents haul this year.
‘I’m hoping, I’ve got big hopes, I’m expecting a lot of things,’ he told Metro.co.uk.

🤍 Never let the world change your smile. Instead use your smile to change the world 🤍 I just wanted to say thank you. Thank you to each and every one of you for always being so bloody lovely. So kind and supportive. For sending messages that build people up and make them feel like they have THE best group of friends EVER. You are angels and you have no idea what difference you make to someone who sometimes need to hear your kind words. There will always be someone out there trying to bring you down. Don’t give them the power to take your smile away. The only keeper of your happiness is you. So keep it far away from harm 🤍 you deserve to be happy 🤍
Teasing his gifts, Stacey continued: ’I think we’ve just done a lot more crafting this year, me and the boys have made stuff, we obviously can’t go anywhere and it’ll be a shame – I might get to see my dad.
‘We’re just gonna make sure we’re gonna make the day the best we can under the circumstances!’
Opening up about how they have dealt with life in lockdown alongside their brood, the mum-of-three revealed how lovely it has been to witness all of Rex’s milestones.
‘It’s been lovely to all be here and celebrate,’ she said. ‘All of the kids were here, and me and Joe, when he took his first steps.
‘I know this sounds terrible, but when Zachary was his age, I was in the X Factor house, living away from home, so I missed so many of his big milestones.
‘When Leighton was that age, I was back to work full time…so it’s been a real privilege to be at home for it.
‘The only bad part I think is the rest of the family not being able to be around. You know, his first birthday, not having his cousins here and his grandma and grandad, and I think that’s the only part where you think, “Oh, that’s quite sad!”’
We’re sure he didn’t mind.
