Sue Cleaver shows off amazing weight loss at Im A Celeb reunion

I’m A Celeb: Sue Cleaver on ‘camp husband’ Mike Tindall

Coronation Street star Sue Cleaver has been flaunting her ever-shrinking frame in new images posted to her Instagram.

The 59-year-old actress, who has played Eileen Grimshaw in the soap since 2000, treated her 144,000 followers to a glimpse of an I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! reunion.

She uploaded three pictures from a “six-hour lunch” event and she looked extremely svelte wearing a long-sleeved Breton top.

In one, Zara Tindall’s husband Mike, who was also in the jungle with Sue, cosied up to her leaning on her shoulder.

Sue captioned the three images: “Oh y’know, just your average six hour lunch… At least the food was better than six months ago, people still as gorgeous… #reuinion #imaceleb @imacelebrity.”

Her appearance on I’m A Celebrity at the end of last year helped her drop several dress sizes.

Earlier this year she told Prima magazine: “I lost some weight in the jungle. But I’m not obsessing over diets: life is hard enough!

“There’s always going to be outside pressure and unfair expectations placed on women, but I refuse to get pulled into it.

“That’s why I’ll never promote anything weight-related, and it’s why I’d always rather compliment somebody on their smile or their outfit, rather than their weight.

“Let’s just let women be women – we have enough difficulties and struggles as it is.”

Before I’m A Celebrity it had been reported that Sue dropped from a UK size 16 to a size 12 by following the Mediterranean diet.

She is believed to have started her weight loss journey back in 2016 when she reached her mid-50s and felt she needed to assess her eating habits.

Alongside Mike, she was joined by fellow campmates comedian Seann Walsh, singer Boy George, DJ Chris Moyles, comedian Babtúndé Aléshé, TV presenter Scarlette Douglas and former footballer Jill Scott, who ultimately won the show.

Conspicuous by his absence was former Health Secretary Matt Hancock who proved a controversial addition to the camp.

Sue and Mike Tindall bonded in the jungle becoming great friends and they were often seen laughing together and looking out for one another as they missed their families.

Reunited with Charlene on an episode of Loose Women in December Sue laughed as the TV presenter accused her of being “naughty” when she joined forces with Mike.

Charlene told her: “You and Mike were so naughty in there,” as Sue covered her face with her hands and admitted: “I know. When you have got no control, and humans naturally want control, you kind of grab it where you can.”

Charlene added: “And you guys were so naughty, all we kept hearing was, ‘Sue, can you come to the Bush Telegraph please, because you’ve been naughty’.”
