The Royals Love to Video Chat with Prince George, Princess Charlotte & Prince Louis

As people around the world continue to practice social distancing and self-isolation, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have revealed how they’re keeping in touch with family members.

In an interview with the BBC (via Town & Country), Duchess Kate revealed, “I think [Prince Charles] and my parents and our families and things like that have really loved keeping in touch with the children, because they know it’s really hard.”

William also joked about using technology to stay connected and said, “As you can imagine, the younger generation are a little bit more tech-savvy. But only just… I think we’re getting there now, the family are getting a little bit more used to being able to contact each other and pressing the right buttons and not dropping the computer halfway through.”

And when it comes to hanging up, Prince Louis is apparently first to grab the phone. William revealed, “For some reason he sees the red button, and always wants to press the red button.”

Prince William also discussed the importance of looking after mental health during self-isolation. He said, “If we are going to go forward with more time spent in lockdown, then there is going to be an ever-increasing need for people to look after their mental health and take it seriously and also know where to go to get the support they might need.”
