Vanessa Hudgens looks totally unrecognisable with blonde hair and bleached eyebrows
Vanessa Hudgens shocked her followers when she unveiled a dramatic new transformation on Instagram, complete with peroxide-blonde hair and bleached eyebrows.
The 33 year old former High School Musical star appeared to be in character for a possible undisclosed role as she donned sultry eye makeup in the form of eyeliner, mascara and rouge-red lips as she pouted for the selfie.
Her normal raven tresses had been dyed blonde and brushed back from her face in a glamorous style, whilst she donned an over-the-top gold choker that was adorned with huge jewels.
She could also be seen wearing a black PVC jacket, looking very much like singing superstar, Lady Gaga, real name Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, 36.
Vanessa seemed surprised at her own appearance, as she captioned the snap: "Who even is she."
Her fans were here for Vanessa's new look, with one person commenting: "OBSESSEDDDDDDD," whilst another wrote: "She is giving vixen!" and a third added: "Someone fabulous," with a number of fire emojis.
Others couldn't stop comparing her to Lady Gaga, with someone writing: "She’s giving Lady Gaga for sure!" as another person commented: "Lady Gaga in hotel AHS" whilst someone else said: "It's giving GAGA".
Another person gushed: "When your obsession as a teen was Vanessa hudgens and Lady Gaga, and now Vanessa decided to dress up as Lady Gaga."
Vanessa found worldwide fame when she starred as Gabriella Montez on teen school drama, High School Musical, which aired in 2006.
It also launched the career of Zac Efron, who played her love interest, basketball player, Troy Bolton. Zac has gone on to enjoy a stellar career in roles such as The Greatest Showman, 17 Again and Dirty Grandpa.
Vanessa is due to star in a documentary film about witchcraft. She will star in Dead Hot: Season Of The Witch alongside her close friend GG Magree.
The documentary sees her learn about witchcraft, ghost hunting and other supernatural disciplines.
Vanessa spoke to Variety about it, as she said: "They’ve been doing little spells since they were kids, and they were just really interested in that world."
She added: "It’s entertainment first, but there’s a real, personal, spiritual journey that they both have together. It’s so emotionally raw that it really created such a beautiful narrative. It’s a lot about female empowerment."
Vanessa has previously spoken about her interest in the supernatural world, when she made an appearance on The Kelly Clarkson show earlier this year, where she claimed to have spoken to ghosts.
She said: "I’ve accepted the fact that I see things and I hear things. The unknown is scary, but I recently was like, 'No, this is a gift and something that I have the ability to do, so I’m going to lean into it."
