Wu-Tang Clan merch available at RiNo pop-up shop

There’s more than one way to get the Wu-Tang Clan experience in Denver this weekend, even if you don’t have tickets to one of the group’s two concerts.

The hip-hop group opened a pop-up apparel shop in RiNo this week, selling branded t-shirts, anoraks, backpacks, hats and more that you won’t be able to find at the merch table during a show, according to an press release. The shop, located inside Lion’s Share at 3195 Blake St., will be open 1 to 6 p.m. Thursday through Saturday.

Wu-Tang Clan performs with the Colorado Symphony Orchestra at Red Rocks Amphitheatre on Friday and Mission Ballroom on Saturday, with support from Outkast rapper Big Boi.

“Performing with the Colorado Symphony Orchestra is truly a special occasion so we wanted to commemorate it with a truly special release,” Oliver “Power” Grant, executive producer for Wu-Tang Clan and founder of Wu-Wear, said in a statement.

Rumor has it some of the members might make time to stop by the pop-up shop throughout the weekend, said Evan Ackerfeld, owner of Artist Proof Collective, a Denver print shop that collaborated with Wu-Tang Clan on merchandise.

While you’re at it, don’t forget to pick up an eighth of Method Man’s original cannabis flower, which hits shelves at Simply Pure and WolfPac Cannabis dispensaries on Friday.
