EastEnders fans were left stunned by an off duty photo of Bernie Taylor actress Clair Norris who looks nothing like her soap alter ego when she's not on set.
While Bernie opts for a fresh-faced makeup-free look, in real life, Clair clearly has a well-stocked make-up bag which she made use of ahead of taking this gorgeous selfie.
The 23-year-old's glam picture didn’t go unnoticed by followers who were quick to compliment the TV star on her evening look.
Clair followed up the snap by posting a second photo on Instagram which revealed that she was enjoying al-fresco drinks with a friend.
Clair Norris has proved a standout star since landing the part of Bernie Taylor four years ago.
After joining the BBC soap in 2017, Clair’s certainly found herself involved in several serious storylines.
Most recently, Bernie surprised viewers when she decided she would be a surrogate for Rainie and Stuart Highway.
Bernie makes the life-changing decision to try and make money to support her family who is struggling financially.
Speaking recently about the storyline, Clair explained Bernie's motivations.
"The Taylors are well known for not being fortunate with money – sharing food, getting coupons and vouchers together to get through the day and missing out on meals," she said, adding:
"For Bernie, she takes it upon herself to get money, and even though she works at the call centre, it's just not enough, so she tries to find another way.
"Through hearsay and gossip on The Square and what Tiffany went through, she finds out that Rainie and Stuart are still looking for a surrogate.
"She decides that this will be the best way to get a lot of money that could change the Taylors' lifestyle and living conditions. That's why she goes to them and wants to be their surrogate."
Speaking about the moment she landed her Eastenders role, Clair previously said: “I never in a million years thought my first TV role would be in EastEnders. It’s surreal, but I’m ever so grateful to be given the opportunity."
Clair’s Instagram bio reads that she’s “just an average girl living her dream”.
She posts plenty of updates from her life in Manchester with her boyfriend Lewis, who she’s been dating for just over two years.
