Everything you need to know about 'coronation hot guy' Major Johnny Thompson
King Charles’ Coronation at Westminster Abbey yesterday was a sight to behold.
From the priceless jewels, and golden carriage, to the Royal family in their stunning outfits, the UK put on quite a show.
But there was one person we couldn’t quite tear our eyes away from.
We know we’re not the only ones that spotted a rather dashing kilt-wearing gent seated near to the new King.
‘Who’s the hot guy helping Charles with his robes?’ asked one inquisitive tweeter.
‘I’m just here for the guy in the kilt,’ wrote another.
Well the crush in question is Major Jonathan Thompson – or Johnny to his friends (and now us) – who has the important role of being the new King’s equerry.
And the King is in safe hands with major hunk Major Johnny.
He previously served as one of Queen Elizabeth’s most senior bodyguards, and he’s also been one of the 5th Battalion Royal Regiment of Scotland since 2006.

And we’re afraid we must break the news that Major Johnny is not on the market. He’s been married to his wife, Caroline, for 13 years, after tying the knot in 2010.
They share a four-year-old son, as well as two black Labradors called Odin and Piper.
It’s actually not that first time that Major Johnny has stolen the hearts of the British public.
He previously became the object of our affections last year, after he appeared during events following Queen Elizabeth’s death in September last year.
As the King continues to settle into his new role, we hope to see a lot more of Major Johnny by his side…
