These days, in the aftermath of Megxit and amid the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the duchess’ style has already shifted drastically. Instead of being in the spotlight, Meghan is spending quality time with her husband, Prince Harry, and baby son, Archie Harrison. “As an actress, Meghan expects perfection,” royal expert Duncan Larcombe, told The Sun. “But when you’re in the royal family, you have to learn that it’s not about you, it’s about what you represent.”
One of the reasons why the Sussexes decided to step away from royal life is because the duchess struggled with her lack of freedom. “Even though [Meghan] was a famous actress, she could still do what she wanted in the way of getting around freely,” an insider told the Daily Mail in 2018. “But in her current role she can’t go anywhere without her protection team, and that’s a massive constraining force on an individual like her.”

Though we’ve only seen a few glimpses of the duchess following Megxit, both in Canada and in LA, she’s always been dressed casually. She was spotted once in yoga pants going for a walk with her son and dogs on Vancouver Island. More recently, she was spotted volunteering with Prince Harry dressed in lounge pants and sneakers.
In the future, there will certainly be times when Meghan must be dressed to the nines. However, it appears that she is using this very unique time to remain casual and relaxed.

Like many of us, Meghan is using video calling like Zoom to stay connected with friends, family, and charities. Recently, the duchess offered a virtual coaching session to a patron of her Smart Works charity. However, her hairstyle took center stage.
We’re all struggling to look presentable in our homes when we have to interact with people through video chats, It seems like the duchess found the perfect look with her half up half down style, complete with her signature middle part.
The look works for a variety of textures and lengths. It showed us the perfect mix of remaining poised but casual. Smart Works is still very near and dear to the Sussexes’ heart.
“It’s been such an honour [sic] to meet and learn from so many talented women in the Smart Works network over the years, and recently to see the amazing work they’re doing to adapt their programs to the reality of this pandemic,” she said on the site’s Instagram post. “Their ability to continue to empower women and help them harness the confidence they need to succeed during this time is inspiring.”
