Major Music Festivals Set to Take Place in 2021

A little over a year ago, HYPEBEAST shared a list of music events that were either postponed or cancelled due to COVID-19. The record continued to grow as 2020 unfolded and all hope for a festival or even a safe show that year was lost. Organizers and artists initially opted to share rescheduled dates for 2021, and while it seemed overtly optimistic at the time, it seems like the live music industry is finally — but slowly — getting back on its feet this year.

Much to everyone’s delight, a selection of major music festivals have recently shared either lineups and/or, at the very least, dates for its comebacks. Famed events like Coachella and Glastonbury won’t be returning in 2021 but fans can look forward to catching their favorite artists live at festivals such as JAY-Z‘s Made In America, Travis Scott‘s Astroworld, Outside Lands, Governors Ball, Austin City Limits, Parklife and more.

Similar to the 2020 record, HYPEBEAST has compiled a list of major music festivals that are confirmed to take place in 2021. While nothing is set is stone, this marks a good starting point for the industry to return to normalcy.
