First look at Demi Moore in sci-fi drama Brave New World – tracking sex-crazed society where monogamy is banned – The Sun
THE first trailer for Demi Moore's new TV drama has dropped – and promises to tell a steamy tale.
Brave New World is an adaptation of the classic Aldous Huxley novel and will broadcast on NBC's streaming service, Peacock which launched in the US this week.
The dystopian story is centred around the futuristic New London where people are sorted into an intelligence based hierachy.
Demi, 57, plays Linda who moved from New London to an outlying reservation with her son John.
Peace has been achieved in the seemingly utopian New London thanks to prohibiting monogamy, privacy, money, family, and history itself.
Other cast members include Jessica Brown Findlay (Downton Abbey), Harry Lloyd (Game of Thrones), Alden Ehrenreich (Solo), and The Originals' Joseph Morgan.
"There's no pain there, John. No fear," Demi's character tells her son in the teaser. "I want that for you."
The series does not have a release date yet but all production wrapped before the coronavirus epidemic hit.
Demi has been spending her time in lockdown with ex-hubby Bruce Willis and their three daughters, Scout, Tallulah and Rumer – along with Scout's boyfriend Jake Lele and Tallaluh's partner, Dillon Buss.
The family has been enjoying family book time at the home in Idaho with Demi regularly sharing snaps of their lockdown.
Days ago, Demi and Bruce looked on very good terms, joking around in green and white striped nightwear while spending time with the extended family.
They even gave Tallulah a GI Jane-style makeover.
Tallulah’s husband Dillon Buss and Bruce, 65, set to work on her head with clippers, as Tallulah transformed into a 90s-era Demi Moore.
Tallulah stayed calm as Bruce ran the clippers over her scalp like a pro, and her sister Rumer joked off-camera: "Gosh you look gorgeous. You look like Joan of Arc, dude."
The family has kept fans entertained on Instagram by slipping into matching pajamas for fun family snaps.
Bruce and Demi might have split 13 years ago, but they looked on very good terms, joking around in the green and white striped nightwear.
Bruce's current wife, Emma Herring, is stuck in Los Angeles with their two daughters and admits she "misses him".
