Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield are back on This Morning and viewers are keen to see whether the chemistry is still flowing.

The presenting duo were in the spotlight on Monday after Phillip’s ominous statement about their friendship.

Fans were quick to point out the “tension between the pair” as they tried their best to gloss over the main story of the day.

They laughed and joked with one another as viewers noticed there was some underlying issue between them.

This Morning fans appear to be rallying around Holly today, with many voicing their support for the 42-year-old on social media.

Fer penned: “We support you Holly #ThisMorning.”

Elaine added: “Have Vernon Kay on as a presenter with Holly.”

Viewers are sensing an atmosphere between the presenters once again.

Fans are concerned Holly is looking distracted, with many taking to social media to comment.

Holly and Phil welcome viewers

Holly and Phil have returned to ITV Studios to host their second This Morning instalment of the week.

Holly looks stunning in a pink floral dress to present the programme, and Phil is wearing a blue shirt.

“It’s actually a bit sunny here in London, so I thought to bring out the florals,” Holly said.

The pair are all smiles once again and will be speaking with Martin Lewis and soap star Ellie Leach on the show.

Fears over Phil’s return after summer break mount

GB News presenter Patrick Christys questioned what happened between the two friends to cause this alleged ‘feud’.Speaking with guest and media commentator Nigel Pauley, Patrick said: “He had his big coming out moment, she was there for him, he was literally crying on her shoulder at one point. What’s changed?”

ITV bosses have confirmed which presenters will be hosting today’s show.

However, the news has not sat well with many fans who are calling for new hosts to “save” the show.

Holly shares her outfit of the day

Holly has posted her daily update showing viewers what she will be wearing on today’s This Morning. 

Taking to Instagram, she showcased a pink floral dress by Nobody’s Child, which was matched with a pair of suede heels.

Fans took to the comments to say she looked “beautiful”.

This Morning ‘facing boycott’ from major A-listers

Dan Wootton has launched into another scathing rant about Phillip Schofield. 

The GB News host has since labelled the duo’s “fake laughter” as “excruciating” before claiming a number of celebrities have refused to go on the show.

He said: “I am also aware of at least two A-list This Morning regulars who have made it clear to bosses that they will not return to the show while Phillip remains in his job.

Fern Britton’s veiled jibe sparks frenzy

Fern Britton sparked a fan frenzy after sharing she’d enjoyed a “catch up” with Eamonn Holmes, which came hours after the GB News anchor hit out at their former This Morning colleagues Phil and Holly.

Fern, who co-hosted the show with Phil between 1999 and 2009, shared she had received an “unexpected call” from Eamonn, 63.

Phil’s colleagues are said to be worried about the toll the drama surrounding his relationship with This Morning co-star Holly Willoughby is taking on the “withdrawn” ITV host.

It comes after the 61-year-old said recent weeks “haven’t been easy” for himself and Holly.

According to The Mirror, “some colleagues are worried about how Phillip is holding up” as reports of tensions rumble on.

Holly and Phil were plastered over the national newspapers on Monday morning, but the This Morning duo failed to mention this on yesterday’s show.

Instead, they put on a united front and appeared in good spirits.

However, viewers seemed vexed the hosts did not address the rift rumours.
