JOEL Dommett and his wife Hannah Cooper are expecting their first child after a secret baby mission.

The couple, who married in 2019, announced the news yesterday with a sweet series of polaroids featuring the model’s bump.

Hannah, 31, wrote: "Does anyone know how to change a nappy? Because Joel has s*** himself."

The pregnancy seems to have been on the cards for a while.

Joel, 37, revealed on a podcast some 19 months ago that Hannah had bought him a sperm test for his birthday.

He said: “We want to prepare ourselves for when and if it does happen, and talk to people to get a broad scope of things.

“And one of those things which I think so many men neglect is if you can’t have children, if you do struggle with it, it’s potentially the man’s fault.

“So I thought I should get a sperm test and see the vibes.

“There’s something really fun about doing it into a pot.

“To be honest I didn’t do it for a really long time. It’s like a Covid test, it’s exactly the same, it’s mad. I was good man!”

Last year Joel told The Sun that he and Hannah had begun their Never Have I Ever podcast in part to prepare them for parenthood.

The series sees them take on new experiences, like making sushi or playing rugby.

Joel said: “We talk about babies a lot but that is what the podcast is all about, doing as many different things together before having kids.

“We want to live our life to the fullest and experience as many things as possible as a couple before having kids and starting our new chapter as parents.

“Obviously having kids doesn't stop you from doing things but it does make it harder.”

Hannah and Joel’s celebrity friends including Zoe Ball and Fearne Cotton today rushed to congratulate the duo.

Fearne commented: "I thought you had a twinkle in your eye the other night! I'm so happy for you both."

Radio 2 DJ Zoe wrote: "The greatest news for yous. ahhh best job ever too BIG LOVE. (sic)"

And Laura Whitmore – whose husband Iain Stirling officiated the couple's wedding in 2019 – added: "Fun times ahead!! So happy for ye! (sic)"

Joel’s first gameshow In With A Shout is currently airing on ITV1 and he will return later this year with The Masked Singer.
