Spoilers: Andrea exits Emmerdale for good after devastating discovery?

Andrea Tate (Anna Nightingale) returns to the eponymous village of Emmerdale after her trip to a mystery hotel, but upon her return, she makes a discovery — and it’s one that results in her deciding to make her exit a permanent one.

Andrea set off with Millie in tow, and Jamie (Alexander Lincoln) was devastated as a result. However, viewers know that the young woman is alive and well, as she and Millie have been hiding out in a hotel.

In the coming episodes, a police officer arrives at the very same hotel with the intention of speaking to Andrea.

He does just that, and Andrea assures him that she’s okay. As a result, the policeman returns to the village, where he tells Jamie that he needn’t worry about Andrea or Millie.

However, the young man is fuming when the officer reveals he’s unable to disclose their location.

Meanwhile, Leyla (Roxy Shahidi) receives a phone call from Andrea, and heads to the hotel to meet her — but little does she know that she’s being watched… and followed!

This mysterious figure is later revealed to be Kim (Claire King), but whether or not she comes face-to-face with her daughter-in-law remains to be seen.

Leyla tells Andrea that she’ll pay the hotel bill on the condition that she return home — and she ultimately agrees to do so.

However, the first thing Andrea sees upon arriving back in the village is Belle (Eden Taylor-Draper) and Jamie declaring their love for one another.

Devastated, she reveals to Leyla that she can’t stay, and therefore heads off once more.

Is this truly the last we’ll see of Andrea?

Jamie finds Millie in the kitchen on her own, and Andrea is nowhere to be found, so it does seem that way.

Or is something else perhaps going on?
