The quartet took on The Dark Destoryer, Shaun Wallace, 62, in an attempt to try and win a large money prize.
But as Emily attempted to outsmart the popular barrister in her cash-builder round, she encountered an awkward question.
Bradley asked: "What is a male Lobster called?"
The options presented to the Nottinghamshire resident were "Bull", "Tom", and "Cock"
Whilst fans took to twitter with excitement at the naughty implication in the quiz.
One fan wrote: "A picture of my c**k that won’t cause offence!!!" alongside an image of a lobster. They then added: "Seems according to a question on the Chase it’s what you call a male lobster!!!
Another quipped: "Essex girl talking about c**k #TheChase," alongside two crying laughter emojis.
Whilst a third viewer noted: "All these grown adults sniggering over the word c**k. I’d never do something like that," alongside a tongue poke emoji.
A fourth said: "That c**k question sucked #TheChase."
Meanwhile, a fifth joked: "C**k at 5pm? Yes please."
Several other users simply wrote the words "C**k" or "#TheChase" on Twitter alongside various emojis or GIFS which include a screenshot of Shirley Temple giggling away or Hattie Jacques and Kenneth Williams looking shocked in the film Carry On Camping.
In the end, the aspiring quizzer got the question wrong as she chose the first option instead.
