The Chase fans were left scooping their jaws up off the floor on Friday evening, as one contestant revealed his real age.
Nina, Chris, Scott and Florence had all teamed up to attempt to beat Jenny Ryan – AKA The Vixen – in the Final Chase to attempt to wrangle an impressive cash prize in the ITV quiz show.
But though Nina got knocked out in the first round, it was 'gorgeous' Chris who caught the eye of plenty of quiz fans.
With his impressive blonde locks and ageless skin, Chris looked to be in his mid-twenties.
Taking to Twitter, one gushing fan wrote: "Am I the only one who would date Chris??"
"He's kinda hot…" someone else posted, while a third fan tweeted: "He's very cute!"
But when it came time for Chris to reveal his real age to host Bradley Walsh, fans simply couldn't believe it – as the blonde haired Adonis was actually 37.
It came as Jenny Ryan remarked that they were the same age – so had missed out on a key music event in history.
"Chap on #TheChase is 37!! Looks more like 24/25!" one fan quickly tweeted.
Another followed up: "Asking for player's age klaxon!"
"He's 37??" someone else begged as they wanted to know Chris' "secret to youth".
Someone else simply tweeted: "37?!!"
