A 33-year-old man has been charged with firearms offences after allegedly firing shots off a balcony.
Cops raced to the £1,900-a-month rented penthouse in Chatham, Kent, yesterday after residents reported hearing gunshots.
Michael Alunomoh is set to appear in court today after being arrested yesterday morning.
Kent Police said today: "The police helicopter was also deployed and 33-year-old Michael Alunomoh was arrested.
"Officers also seized six imitation firearms.
"Mr Alunomoh was later charged with possession of imitation firearms with intent to cause fear of violence.
"He was remanded in custody to appear before Medway Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 23 April."
Armed cops rushed to the Dockside area – near to a large shopping centre – after people reported seeing a man on a balcony with weapons.
Videos shared on social media showed a man singing along to Tupac as the incident unfolded at Chatham Dockside, yesterday morning.
Shocked neighbours reported hearing up to 60 rounds being fired from around 8.15am, sparking a huge police response.
Officers swarmed the area and took in a suspect, who was on a 16th-floor apartment overlooking the River Medway.
